Excellent Onpage SEO Tips

When most people think SEO is often only take into account things like meta tags, keyword density and doorway pages.

However, as with many things when it comes to SEO, what worked a few years ago no longer applies in the current search engine algorithms.

Take meta tags, for example. Way back when the Internet was still in its infancy, meta tags were introduced to help search engines (at the time the search engine AltaVista was great... Google had not even been invented) what topic or theme of the work site was. Naturally, it was not long before spammers began to abuse meta tags and after the next generation of search engines came to the importance and value of meta tags you have decreased.

There are a few same style gurus out there who will tell you that you need optimal keyword density to rank well in search engines, "get a keyword density of 3.24% and reach higher positions." The truth of the matter is if there is an optimum density, then it would be very easy for people to rank their sites on search engines. The best advice I can give is to keep your natural writing and focus on providing great content for the reader and treat second search engine first.

Onpage optimization now does not count for much nowadays. The way to search engine (at least the latest dates as Google, Yahoo and Live) took place is to record how many inbound links your site has and assign weight to each of these links. To search engine focuses on ensuring that your site is relevant to what the user searched and if there is a lot of incoming links, it is likely that your site is providing content that the user is looking good.

The classic example is used by SEO experts to show people that the optimization in the hotel now has a minor relevance in search engine optimization process is the "click here" result on Google. If you search Google for the phrase, click here you will find that the number one result is Adobe Acrobat Reader.

If you check out the Adobe website is the phrase "click here" does not appear anywhere in the title or text. What does this mean? The site is getting no high ranking because it is in the optimization of the page (because there is noe), but because it is off page optimization. In other words, there are thousands of inbound links to Adobe page with the words "click here" link. On the basis of Google current algorithm, it is natural to assume that this is the most relevant page for the phrase "click here".

Unfortunately, unlike Adobe, most of us do not have millions of inbound links to our site - and despised our best efforts, never will, so we must use all resources available to us to make our site as the engine search as possible - and this includes the onpage optimization to some extent.

But what are the most important factors to consider when optimizing your website? Take a look... 5. Keep tightly focused content too often webmasters will try to optimize your home page for every relevant keyword you can imagine. Ultimately this work through optimization against as it dilutes the relevance of your main keywords. Try to keep the page content focused on a single keyword. If you are targeting multiple keywords then it is better to create individual pages for keywords in tightly focused content around.

4 Use more than 500 words on your site Back in the 90s to technique called doorway pages ultra were fashionable. Webmasters create doorway pages for each keyword you were targeting. All of these doorway pages did was give a short text focused on a particular keyword, inviting the user to enter the site. The search engines eventually wise to this and as the algorithms were improved doorway pages were relegated to a thing of the past. When you are creating your page uses focused laser more than 500 words to show the search engine that this page contains valuable and useful content to the user. Do not repeat words too often and certainly not simply lists of keywords - the search engines know the game too!

Try not to worry too much about keyword density, provided you follow the remaining instructions on the page line up well. No one can say exactly what the keyword density is optimal because frankly do not know!

3. Creating a good internal linking structure The power of good input to your site can not be underestimated in SEO, nor the power to use keyword rich anchor text. Well guess what? Inside Its features with a link to the structure of SEO rankings too! Why try to use your main keyword instead of using the text "Start" on a link to take people back to the home page. In this way Google (and other search engines) know that going to a page that you have to do with your keyword.

Follow this internal link structure through its site - but always remember to keep links readable and understandable for humans too! Using the correct internal link structure is a little known method and unused SEO really worth it in the game of SEO.

2 H1 Tags I have the feeling that as word spreads about the power of H1 tags then the impact of search engines will decline. The main reason for many of the webmasters do not use H1 tags is because it creates very large text and creates a large void beneath the text. However, the use of simple CSS can change the style of an H1 tag to whatever we want.

For example, this code shows how to make really small label H1: Try to get your main keyword within the h1 tag but remember to keep it readable! Do not limit your keyword list.

1 Your page title Finally, the page title is probably the most important SEO onpage. When you do a search on Google or any major search engine it always stresses the keyword in the title. Too often, webmasters and online businesses misuse of your title tag by typing something like: Welcome to XYZ Company Ltd!

However, if the company sold the widgets, there would be highlighted on the search results page when someone searches for widgets. The truth is that nobody really chares about the name of the company. When a user clicks on a link in the search results page because they think that the site could solve your problem (in this case a serious problem widget!).
